I shot these images back in April. But with the way the weather has been, I could have easily done these same shots in May...or June...and who knows, at this rate, maybe even July! I arrived on set about an hour early, and the skies had great texture in them. I got nervous that they would flatten out before we could get shooting, so I photographed the them before the talent arrived. Sure enough, when we were ready to shoot, the skies were a dead flat grey...Boring!!! That was OK though because I was confident that I could get the final image that I wanted, knowing that I had pre-shot the skies. So the skies were really there...just not at the same time as the talent! I love having the compositing option! Big thanks to Mary Beth for sticking it out in the rain for two hours of shooting, and also Josh for introducing me to Mary Beth!

Really love the 3rd and last image. Nicely done on the composite as well! Looks like the real deal! ;)
