A few more shots with Christian

Wednesday I was doing post production work until 4:00 a.m. because of a project deadline that I had to hit. I got it done just in time to be on set the next morning. Here are a couple shots from that last day of my sport shoot with Christian.

Dancing shoot with Chelsie Hightower

This was a fun shoot that I did with some very talented dancers who have since gone far with their talents. Chelsie Hightower (top image) has been on So You Think You Can Dance, and Dancing with the Stars. Jared Murillo (second image) has signed a record deal with Warner Bros. Records and he is in a boy band called VFactory. I'm not sure what Averie Delgrosso(third picture down) is up to, but she was great to work with, and a very talented dancer. Hopefully she will make a career with her talents. Hefa Tiuta (bottom picture) is a great dancer as well, he is in Nickelodeon's newest TV show called Dance on Sunset. He was also in a Warner Bros. film called Unaccompanied Minors.

Basketball

Here's some images from a shoot that I did a couple of weeks ago with some very talented basketball players. Of course, we had to do some 80's Michael Jordan style slams! I really wanted some chain link fence for this shoot to use as a reveal but the location didn't have one so I had Kelby (my assistant) buy some to set up there for some of the shots. I think it turned out pretty fun.

Hoops Highlights

Last week I did a shoot with this great basketball player. OK, so lately I've been on a sports kick. I really enjoy photographing athletic people. Sports photography was actually a goal I set for myself a several years back. Other opportunities came up and I took another direction. Now I'm redirecting my work in that motion at least for a while. As for now the images are athletic portraits, but I have some plans to shoot more action shots as well. Enjoy and feel free to bag on any of my work as I'm sure most of you see these images and think "oh if he would have just done this!!!"
